So, Ms. Adams, also known as Michelle, is probably one of my favorite people on the planet. She was my high school English teacher and newspaper supervisor and one of the people I credit with sparking my interest in journalism, writing and photography.
It can be weird shooting with someone who used to be a teacher. Is it Ms. Adams? Michelle? I'm an adult but I still feel weird being on a first-name basis? It doesn't matter though -- this shoot was all about her becoming a Mrs. That's right y'all -- she's getting married! Congratulations Ms. Adams (Michelle?) and David!

Virginia's mom, Anna and I worked together a billion years ago it seems like at my first job out of college. Now, we're both all grown up and little Virginia has made her debut in the world.
What's so special about these photos is that Anna's mother passed away tragically and unexpectedly about a year before Virginia was born. One of Anna's close friends is a talented designer and took the dress Anna's mother wore to her wedding and made it into a special baptism dress for Virginia to wear. I interned under Jennifer many years ago and have followed her and awesome blog -- Stellar Fashion and Fitness -- ever since. I loved working with her to capture some portraits for her upcoming book (!!!) and blog. Be sure to check out her work: http://stellarfashionandfitness.com/
If Rachel and Austin look familiar, it's because we recently did a shoot with them promoting their new gym in Calera, Alabama.
Rachel and Austin are definitely swolemates and we were so excited to be a part of their wedding! Venue: Ozan Winery in Calera, Alabama Cody and Miranda are friends of ours that we've known for a long time. In fact, funny story, they caught the bouquet and garter at our wedding, which is why none of us were surprised when they decided to tie the knot shortly after!
